The use of our website, online booking system and telephone booking service is subject to
the following terms and conditions, together with any additional terms and policies
referred to in them ("Our Terms"). These terms are legally binding between you and
CentredTherapies ("we", "us", "our").
Firstly, thank you for choosing CentredTherapies, the perfect place to book a massage
in Lincoln.
Appointments
You can make an appointment several ways:
- Online, any time, at centredtherapies.co.uk/book
- By calling 01522 282008 - answered around the clock by Donna, our virtual assistant,
who can book, move and cancel appointments for you

Once your booking is confirmed you'll receive a confirmation by text and/or email, and a
text reminder around 24 hours before your appointment.
Phone calls and recording
Our phone line is answered by an automated virtual assistant. Calls are recorded and
transcribed so bookings are captured accurately - the assistant tells you this at the
start of each call. How recordings are handled is set out in our
Privacy Policy.
Payments
- Online card payments are taken securely by Stripe. You can pay by card, Apple Pay
or Google Pay; your card details never touch our website.
- First-time customers pay when they book. A slot reserved by phone or
online is held for a short stated window while payment (or, when offered, a
confirmation link sent by text) is completed - if it isn't completed in that window,
the slot is released and the booking does not go ahead.
- Returning customers may choose to pay on the day, by cash or card.
Cancellation policy
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or move an appointment - you can do this
online, or by phoning and asking the assistant. Where you've paid online and cancel with
enough notice, your payment is refunded in full.
With less than 24 hours notice, or a no-show, the full amount of the appointment is
chargeable. We do this because we may not be able to fill your appointment in time -
while still having to cover the costs. An invoice for any cancellation or no-show charge
will be sent to you by email for payment by bank transfer within 7 days. Following such a
cancellation, payment must be received before any further bookings can be taken.
Gift vouchers
- Vouchers are delivered by email as an e-gift card and hold a balance you can spend
across one or more visits, online or by phone.
- Vouchers expire 12 months after purchase (the expiry is shown when you buy and on the
voucher itself).
- Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Memberships
- A membership is a six-month commitment: one treatment each month at the agreed
member price, with all six appointments booked at the point of joining.
- Payment is monthly in advance, normally by recurring card payment (collected
securely by Stripe; six payments in total, stopping automatically). If a month's payment has not
reached us within 7 days of its due date, that month's session is no longer
covered by the membership and standard prices apply until the account is brought
up to date; a second missed payment pauses the membership entirely.
- Individual monthly sessions can be moved with the usual 24 hours notice.
Membership payments are not refundable once a month's session has been taken.
Confidentiality
All client records are safeguarded by CentredTherapies and remain confidential. Unless
required to do so by a court of law, we will not share, sell or distribute any information
held on you without your consent. Our own booking system stores your contact details so
we can manage your bookings and send reminders; the service providers who help us run it
are listed in our Privacy Policy.
Your behaviour
CentredTherapies is a warm and relaxing space on private grounds, by appointment. We ask
all of our clients, new and existing, to be polite, respectful and kind to everybody
within the premises. We do not accept any form of foul-mouthed, abusive or sexual
behaviour. Any attempt of such an act will stop the treatment; you will have to pay for
the treatment due to the inconvenience and be escorted off the premises, and the Police
will be called if necessary. Intoxication on drugs or alcohol is also prohibited.
Complaints are dealt with promptly - please raise them with us directly in writing.
Health & safety
All CentredTherapies therapists are fully qualified and insured.
If your therapist is ill, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment with any given
notice. We do this to prevent cross-contamination. If you have any illness which is
contagious, please call 01522 282008 to reschedule or cancel - we'll happily move the
appointment. Failure to do so could result in your appointment being cancelled, and our
cancellation policy may still apply.
Disclaimer
CentredTherapies provides massage and complementary treatments; these are not a substitute
for professional medical care. We will never diagnose, prescribe medication or perform any
kind of medical treatment, and we will always recommend a referral to your GP if
necessary. We reserve the right to refuse treatment at our discretion - for example, we
may require your doctor's permission before carrying out a treatment.
