A bit of background about CentredTherapies"
Having worked for Lincolnshire County Council and Lincolnshire Community Health Service for a total of 19 years as a Community Nursery Nurse, I really felt like the time was right for a completely new challenge and change of career direction.
I had been receiving regular massages personally for 4 years and was always fascinated on the effects that it had on my whole being after each treatment and often thought how wonderful it would be to work in such a truly relaxing environment daily.
I started to look at the possibility of training to become a Massage Therapist and found myself booked onto Level 3 Diploma in Massage and running alongside it my theoretical training in anatomy, physiology and pathology. Suddenly my new career journey was beginning! I was hooked from the first day and knew that I had made the right decision.
After qualifying, I decided that I wanted to run my own business, with the goal of creating a hub for Massage in Lincoln. Hence CentredTherapies was born. Why call it CentredTherapies? Well, my vision was to offer therapies and treatments that were totally centred around your needs, putting you first and all treatments under the same roof so CentredTherapies seemed the right brand.
Over the years I have continued to do further training to extend my knowledge and skills to be able to offer a wider range of treatments, just for you. My specialism is Pregnancy Massage for all mums to be from their 2nd Trimester and Deep Tissue Massage for those who need just a little bit more than a regular Swedish Massage.
